The interior design of the room was stylish and spacious, with a large flat-screen TV and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and had a nice bathtub. The hotel offered good wifi in the rooms, and the simple Chinese breakfast provided a variety of options. The hotel is conveniently located near Taoyuan train station and a 7-11. The staff, while their English skills were limited, were friendly and helpful to the best of their ability.

At one time this was a luxury/romance hotel, but it has seen better days. It's still ok for a budget hotel though, especially if you want to see a "real" city (Taoyuan) in Taiwan. It's right near downtown. It's not in a fancy neighborhood, but I felt safe, except when crossing the streets. The staff were very friendly and helpful. But they didn't speak much English. I was able to do a "day stay", which was great since I had an 11 hour layover. The room was clean, in good repair, and had a big flat screen TV (didn't use) and a hot tub (used)! There were two complimentary bottles of water in the in-room fridge, but I was too full on airline food to eat the complimentary breakfast.
They had some trouble processing my credit card (we tried two) so I paid in cash. (I also wasn't able to get cash from the atm at a nearby bank, but they were able to change my money, so take plenty of cash just in case.) The room was cool, but I didn't see an air conditioner. They may have central A/C, or it may have been a cool night. It sounded like the A/C was on, but I didn't see the vents or feel it blowing. The window was open and I left it open. I would definitely ask about this before staying there in the summer. My only real complaint would be that the door to the room did not seem very secure. It had apparently been kicked in in the past and was kind of fixed, but I think a stiff kick would have opened it again. And the hotel was far from Taoyuan airport, so the taxi ride (580 TWD there and 460 TWD back) canceled out some of the savings. But I enjoyed seeing a real city away from the airport. And I have to say, the first taxi ride (to the hotel) was something I'll never forget, like something out of an action movie... There was no clock in the room and the wifi was weak, but it was strong in the lobby.

Clean hotel close to train to get to taipei. Friendly staff but hard to get understood since they did not speek english. Good breakfast in the morning an access to a computer in the lobby. Wi fi available in the lobby but not in the room. Good budget hotel!! Would recommend :)

Spacious Bathroom and Comfortable Bed
During my business trip, I stayed at a budget hotel near Taoyuan airport. Although the hotel's location was not very central, it was close enough to the airport and offered a shuttle service that made my commute convenient. I also liked that the room had a desk and free Wi-Fi, which allowed me to finish some work. the bathroom was spacious, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The bed was comfortable and provided a good night's sleep.
My experience was not all good. The room was small, and there was barely any space to move around.

I truly enjoyed the place, its local breakfast.
The room of place was big and well-appointed with strong pressure hot water. Everything was excellent, though a few employees were very bad. The location was good, about 10-minute walk into town.

The sauna facilities in the bathroom is incredible and bathtub is really huge.
You can smell the scent of cigarette smoke even though you asked for a non-smoking room.

This hotel is a great option for a short stay before leaving Taiwan. the location is fairly close to the airport, with easy access to the train station and bus to the airport. the staff is helpful and welcoming, and the room and bathroom are comfortable and spacious. the 24-hour front desk and free wifi are added bonuses. Guests can also enjoy free coffee and tea 24/7, and DIY toast and jam if leaving before breakfast.
The soundproofing to the adjacent rooms and hallway could have been better.

For the budget price paid, you get a huge bathtub which is really a deal. Room are very comfortable, but watch out for bugs on the mattress. The staff are all very polite and efficient.
I stayed because I thought it is nearer to Taoyuan airport as i have a morning flight to catch, however not so near after all. The location is not very good, difficult to find food nearby and a few prostitution outlets nearby too. Will not recommend to solo traveler.

Firstly, the price was right! Reasonably affordable... Secondly, bed was comfortable (Hard enough as i have backaches easily). Thirdly, staffs are friendly and helpful. Fourthly, location is pretty okay; train station was like 15 minutes away, 5 minutes to super market and 7 eleven, 30 minutes walk and you can start your shopping. Last but not least, there are adult channels for couples...
Nothing much...

Great staff, great rooms and a great location. Everything is nearby, shopping, banks, restaurants, buses and trains. Also the nearby "whatever" restaurant on 121 Taoying road has friendly, english speaking people and the best burgers you could ever imagine.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They also speak English. The rooms are very nice and clean. Some even have a sauna and jacuzzi tub. Great location, close to all shopping, banks, busses and train station. 5 to 10 min walk to everything. Also nearby is restaurant "whatever" which serves the most awesome hamburgers, just as good as from a backtard BBQ. They are on 121 Taoying rd. and speak English also, which is not to be taken for granted in Taiwan. It is a short walk, but you have to go around a bit because of the railroad tracks.
